Most businesses didn't set out to have a technology problem. They made sensible decisions at the time — picked a tool that solved an immediate problem, added another when that wasn't enough — and ended up with a stack that nobody fully owns and nobody fully understands.

The answer, almost always, is already out there. The modern technology landscape — SaaS products, workflow automation, cloud services — has solved most of the problems that businesses are paying consultants to solve the hard way. The gap isn't capability. It's knowing what exists, whether it fits, and how to connect it properly.

The NoCode CTO Philosophy

Less code is usually better than more code. Fewer moving parts, lower maintenance cost, less to go wrong.

Follow that logic far enough and you reach an obvious conclusion: no code at all is better than a little code.

That's what the name means. Not afraid of technology — committed to the simplest answer that works.

Most organisations don't need bespoke software. They need the right tools, configured correctly and connected properly, by someone who can see the whole picture clearly enough to say what that looks like.

When Covid forced businesses to rebuild their operations overnight, the modern technology approach proved itself. The engagements since have confirmed it: modern technology is powerful, most businesses are only using a fraction of it, and the gap between the two is almost always fixable.

How we work

A full-time CTO is too expensive and too heavyweight for most businesses. A customer success rep tends to turn up with a solution before they've understood the problem. We sit between the two.

The right question isn't "what system should we buy?" It's "how should technology actually work in this business, and what's stopping it from working that way now?"

Answering that question honestly sometimes means getting more from what's already in place. Sometimes it means replacing tools that don't fit. It will always mean a strategy built for where the business is going — not a report that goes in a drawer.
